Craig S. O'Connor

Craig S. O'Connor
Craig S. O'Connor was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. A graduate of Hampton High School in the Northern suburbs of Pittsburgh, it was there that Craig proudly achieved the rank of Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America, that organization’s highest scouting honor. Craig graduated from Allegheny College in Meadville, Pennsylvania. In 1994, Craig graduated from the University of Dayton School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. Craig is licensed to practice before all the Courts of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the United States District Court of the Western District of Pennsylvania.

Craig has a very broad practice consisting primarily of Estate Planning and Administration, Family Law and Corporate Formation. Throughout his career, Craig has focused his practice on personal service to clients. Over the years, the line has often blurred between client and friend for many of the people Craig has had the privilege of representing. Craig has served as an instructor for several attorneys in Pennsylvania on matters related to Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR), divorce and custody issues. Craig is amongst the exclusive group of family law attorneys that have been trained in Collaborative Law, a unique, new practice geared toward removing the courtroom from the divorce process. As a member of the Pennsylvania Collaborative Law Committee, Craig assisted in creating Pennsylvania's inaugural draft of the Collaborative Law Act. Craig is a member of the Allegheny County Bar Association and The Pennsylvania Bar Association.

It is Craig's distinct honor to continue the legacy of The Law Office of Martin E. Lazzaro, LLC, as a partner of Ciao, Torisky & O'Connor, LLC. Craig had the immense pleasure of being first an acquaintance, then colleague and ultimately a friend of Marty’s for over twenty years. Marty had a significant impact on Craig’s life, career and the manner in which Craig endeavors to treats his own clients - the same way you would treat friends and family. Marty was like the pebble that hits a still pond, for the ripples that he made though his life and career will long be felt by many.

Craig continues to reside in Hampton Township with his family. During his free time, Craig enjoys traveling around the world. Some of his recent visits have included England, Egypt and Argentina. He also enjoys cooking, sailing on his boat, golfing and is an avid filmgoer.
